Ice Cream Cone
Cup Cakes

1 package
1 box
4 boxes
1 batch

1)  Preheat oven per cake directions.

2)  Mix cake according to directions.  Fill each ice
cream cone half full of cake batter.  I used a long
teaspoon so I didn't get the batter all over. Place
each cone into the compartments of  a muffin tin.
I was able to fill 30 cones and still have  batter left
over.

3)  Bake according to cup cake directions.  When
baked place on a rack or paper towel to cool.

4)   While the cones are cooling, make frosting by
creaming 1 cup of butter, 1 cup of shortening and 1
teaspoon of vanilla  together with a hand-mixer;
add one 2- pound package of powdered sugar
several cups at a time.  Alternate the powdered
sugar with several tablespoons of milk until all of
the  powdered sugar is mixed in and frosting is
nice and fluffy.

5)   Frost all cooled cones.  To decorate the tops I
used 2 packages of Let's Do Organic Sprinkles
Carnival in one  bowl and 2 packages of Let's Do
Organic Confetti in another bowl.  I just dunk each
frosted cup cake into the sprinkles.

1)  Preheat oven per recipe directions.  Mix cake
and pour into greased and floured cake pans.
Bake according to directions.

2)  Cake is done when a toothpick inserted comes
out clean.  Cool for a few minutes and remove
each cake from pan.  Completely cool.

3)  Make butter cream frosting and highlight each
car.  The cars are not frosted completely, but
highlighted with frosting.  Sprinkle the sugar on
the frosting.

4) Decorate with candies.

Directions:  (caution: adult supervision required)
1)  Wash apple and dry. Cut a little wedge of
apple out with your paring knife.

2)  Cut a toothpick in half and stick into
blueberry and then into apple for eyes.  Take
the end off of a banana and attach with half of a
toothpick for a nose.  Take two pieces of chunk
pineapple and attach to the side of your apple
with half of a toothpick for ears.

Note:  Use your imagination when making your
Mr. Apple.  You can even use a pear and make
a Mr. Pear with other fruits of your choice.

Caution:  You may eat your apple or pear head
but make sure to be careful of the toothpicks
with little ones.
