Juicier Lemons
You can get
more juice
out of a lemon
before you cut
it by first rolling
it on a flat surface.
Press down firmly as you roll. You
can also pop it in the microwave
for a few seconds to help the fruit
release its juices.
Goodbye Fruit Flies
To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass
and fill a 1/2” with apple cider vinegar and 2
drops of dish washing liquid, mix well. You will
find the fruit flies drawn to the cup and gone
forever.
Mother’s Day Gift?
Do Mom a big favor and
skip the perfumes.
Most of them (even the
expensive ones) are
made from petroleum
and can have many
harmful health effects.
Free & Clear
Any Laundry detertent without
added dyes and fragrances,
often known as "Free & Clear"
are okay to use on the program.
Extra Batches of Cookies
Make an extra batch of cookie dough and roll
it in wax paper and seal tightly in gallon sized
zip locks bags. You can refrigerate for
several days or freeze up to three months.
Then when you need quick cookies, just pull
them out, thaw if you need to. Slice & bake!
Potential
Problems
at School
Double check every
classroom teacher your
child might have including
any resource teachers for learning disabilities.
Make sure all teachers have access to healthy
treats. Other things to check about are smelly
stickers, scented markers, or stamps used on
hands. Scented room plug-ins, hand soaps in the
bathroom. Be sure the Feingold Program is
written into your child’s IEP.
