lavender icing and use a star tip
along the border of the green icing.
Change tip and do a basket weave
around the entire sides of the cake.

10. Fill one decorator back with yellow
icing and a star tip. Star between lavender
stars and basket weave.  Also use star tip
to make a ribbon boarder at the bottom.
.
11.  Place easter basket handle down inside

and rest the easter bunny on the handle.
The large bunny and chocolate on this cake
came from the

Pink chenille stem (pipe cleaner)
Thicker dark pink chenille stem (pipe cleaner)

Small pink pom-pom
Wire cutters or scissors
Cardboard
Tacky Glue
Fabric or lace

you have around the house for the  base.
    Fuzzy
    Chicks

You Need:
Yarn (Whatever color you like)
Styrofoam Eggs
Wiggle Eyes -- 15mm
Orange Pipe Cleaners - 1 per egg
Tacky Glue

Instructions:
1- Place a dot of tacky glue at the top of the egg.  Start
to make a circle of yarn over the glue.  Hold the yarn
down and start winding around once.

2- Start spreading strips of glue down each side of the
egg; wind the yarn around the egg making sure not to
leave any spaces where you can see the egg.  Repeat
the gluing and winding process until you get to the
bottom of the egg.  Then measure about how much
you will need and cut the yarn. Wrap the final piece at
the bottom to finish.  Let dry.

3-  Glue two wiggle eyes on. Cut 2 inches of your
orange pipe cleaner.  Fold in half and push the cut
ends into the egg under the eyes.  Do again for the
bottom beak.

4-  Cut four 3 inch pieces of pipe cleaner for the feet.
Bend one piece around the second piece to make
three toes and a leg.  Repeat for the other foot.  Push
the legs up into the bottom of the egg on each side.
You will need to manipulate them to get the egg to
stand up.

Paper Plate Leprechaun
Supplies:
Paper plate
Pencil
Nickel, Dime, and Penny
Scissors
Glue
Marker
Construction Paper:
  • 1 red
  • 1 green
Construction Paper Scraps:
  • 1 blue
  • 1 white
  • 1 black
  • 1 pink
  • 1 yellow

Instructions:
1-  Hat- Cut a square from the green paper, the size you
would like the hat to be.  Next, cut a thin rectangular strip of
green construction paper for the brim of the hat. Make this
a little longer than the green square which will be the hat.
Cut a long rectangular strip of black construction paper for
the trim on the hat. This should be the same width as the
green square hat. To make the buckle, use yellow
construction paper. Take a small scrap, and fold it in half
and cut a rectangle. Along the fold, you can cut out the
inside to make a hollow rectangle. Glue all the pieces in
place, and then glue the hat to the plate.

2-  Eyes-The next step is to make the eyes. I used three
coins as templates for tracing on construction paper, a
quarter, penny, and a dime. I used the quarter to trace a
circle in black, the penny to trace a circle in white, and the
dime to trace a circle in blue. All these circles then get
glued on top of one another, biggest to smallest, to make
the eyes. Then, glue the eyes to the paper plate.

3-  Nose -Now it is time to make his nose. I used a bit of pink
construction paper scrap, cut a rectangle and fold in half.
Draw the letter b on the fold and cut out.  You can adjust the
shape to make the size of noes you like.  Glue on to the face.

4-  Mouth-  Then use  a marker and draw on the mouth.  You
can use construction paper to make a mouth. A big grin
would look great!

5- Beard -  Next it is time to make his beard. Take the red
construction paper and start cutting thin long strips from it,
about 1/4 inch wide. Cut about a dozen strips.  When you
are done, take all these strips and cut them in half to make
them shorter, so you have twice as many as you started
with. Take each strip and roll it tightly around a pencil. This
will make it curly. Then glue each curly strip around the
edge of the plate to make his beard.

Once your done you can use some tape to hang to the door,
or a loop of string can be taped to the back for easy hanging.

centerpiece or just to be on
display during Easter.

Supplies

Easter Grass
Styrofoam® eggs
Craft glue
Yarn (your favorite colors and types)
Your favorite Easter basket

of your egg and form a tiny circle with your yarn.  Hold
circle of yarn in place at top with your finger.  Glue up
and down all sides of egg and coil the yarn around and
around the egg.  When you get to the bottom,  gauge
how much you have left and cut the yarn, winding it to a

how one should look.
