Freezing Extra
Zucchini!
When your gardening
gives you more zucchini
than you know what
to do with, peel them
and shred them up.
Freeze them for later
zucchini bread and
muffins. Yum!!
When Family Members
Just Don't Get It!
If you suspect a doting aunt
or disbelieving father-in-law
is going to give some illicit
food to your Feingolder,
consider the ultimate threat
that has worked in many
cases.
When you arrive, tell that
person “If you turn him on
you get to take him home and
keep him for three days!”
Make sure others, especially
your child are not within ear
shot of your comment.
Garbage Disposal
Put a few pieces of lemon,
lime or orange rinds in the
disposal. Run cold water,
and turn on the disposal.
Grind until rinds are gone.
The disposal will smell
clean and fresh.
Party
Drinks
Freeze fruit juice in ice cube
trays and add to drinks at
your party. Or freeze in
special shaped ice cube
trays or popsicle trays.
Trip Ideas When Flying
- In your carry - on bag take snacks
for short trips and even a packed
lunch if a meal will be served.
- Carry along books, toys, games for
kids to keep them entertained.

Tip for July:
Did you know…studies report if you chew xylitol gum between brushings and after meals, you can reduce tooth decay by approximately 60%? Within 6 hours after brushing, plaque, that sticky film starts to form on your teeth and gums. Make sure you floss thoroughly and brush every side of every tooth and your gums.
