Corn Syrup and High Fructose Corn Syrup are low-cost sweeteners
used in many processed foods.  They are  produced by treating
cornstarch with powerful acids and other chemicals.  They are  high in
sulfites.  This, or a residue of chemicals picked up during processing,
may account for reactions  some individuals have to corn syrup.

Take a  lime,  cut it
in half, and rub it on
your forehead.  The
throbbing may go
away.

Caution:  When skin
is exposed to
ultraviolet light ( ie sunshine) after lime
juice contact a reaction known as
phytophotodermatitis can occur, which
can cause the skin to darken blister
and swell. The agent responsible for
this is psoralen. Basically a burn when
exposed to sunlight the sunshine does
not need to be too strong or bright. .
